Help make the street mural on Hearst Avenue a reality!

From October 15 - 22, mural artist Josué Rojas and the San Francisco Parks Alliance team will paint the mural on Hearst Avenue! Friends of Slow Hearst will help close the street so Josué can safely install the mural (all permits successfully issued by the city).

Community Painting Day

On Saturday, Oct 19, Friends of Slow Hearst will host a Community Painting Day so anyone from the Sunnyside community can help to paint the mural! Click the Volunteer button to sign up for a 1-hr slot on Saturday. Kids are welcome! For kiddos who aren’t up for painting the mural, we will have mini pumpkins to decorate! Please let us know if you want us to reserve a pumpkin to decorate.

Mural Painting

We need community to help make this mural a reality. Please let us know if you can help for a 1-2 hour shift during the installation period of Oct 15-22. After you sign up, we'll confirm the time with you and provide the training and supplies :D.
